U.S. News unveils the list of best countries in the world for this year 2023 and Switzerland takes the first place; U.S is not in the top-three.

The American media company, U.S. News releases the catalogue of best countries in the world for the year 2023 based on various factors ranging from quality of life, entrepreneurship, heritage and power. Among 87 countries in the list, Switzerland holds the title of “Best Country in the World Overall”. Indeed, 5 out of top 10 best countries are from Europe.

Located in the Western Europe, Netherlands is the 10th overall best country in the world and 7th in quality of life and social purpose. The Dutch’s good job market, economic stability, and family friendliness are the major attributes contributing to its overall ranking. #9 United Kingdom

The sixth largest economy in the world – United Kingdom is the ninth overall best country in the world. Entrepreneurship, cultural influence, and agility are the major contributors for the country’s development, as per U.S. News. With an overall score of 92.4, UK has been pushed from eighth position in 2022 to ninth in 2023.

#8 New Zealand

The island nation in the Pacific Ocean, located at southeast of Australia, performs the best in its social purpose, agility and openness of business. New Zealand is also in top-10 countries of the world on basis of adventure.
