Why it’s better to enter personal email-ID? When I was experimenting, I noticed that Google One subscription is available only for personal mail-IDs. A mail-ID with .edu and .org suffixes may leave you with “Google One isn’t available for this account” page. So, it’s better to provide personal email-ID at first and verify with your student mail-ID when asked to sign-in and verify.
If your college / institution doesn’t provide you Student mail-ID?
There are few institutions who may not provide mail-IDs to students. Don’t worry, we have you covered. As long as you can find your college name in the dropdown list during SheerID verification process, you are eligible for Free Google AI Pro subscription for one year.
After you entered your personal details and clicked “Verify Student Status”, you’ll be taken to a page showing “Sign in to your school” (1), click that. A new tab will open asking you to sign-in a Gmail account. Close that tab and you’ll find the page got changed and you’ll see a new button “Upload Proof of Enrollment” (2). Click that and you’ll be taken to a page where you have to upload documents to verify your student status. Upload the required documents (3) and you’ll get verified in few minutes (if you’re request and documents are genuine). (Hope that was helpful!)
