Apple September Event 2023

Apple upcoming event that’s expected on September 12, 2023 will have lineup of products, including iPhone 15 series, Apple Watches, Airpods and iPad Mini 7.

The avidity that Apple has earned towards its products continues year on year. Coming up with new products and features on every event, Apple sparks the talk of its new products in the technology world each time, which itself becomes a word-of-mouth marketing for the new releases.

And this year, Apple is gearing up with couple of products, with major changes and enhancements. To add a glimpse, Apple for the first time, gonna launch products with USB-C charging port, ditching its lightning port, due to EU norms.

Apple September Event 2023

Apple is likely to conduct the next event on September 12 of this year in Cupertino, according to reports. The event will unfold products such as iPhone 15 series, Apple Watch 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, AirPods with USB-C, and iPad Mini 7.

Apple might also hint on updates for Apple Vision Pro and other sources say that, the firm indeed plans to relaunch Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus with USB-C port, according to reports.

Apple iPhone 15 Series

iPhone 15 models

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus

Apple, for the first time, brings some exclusive features to its non-pro models – iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which was only for its pro-models before. Firstly, both iPhone 15 and 15 Plus features 48 MP primary camera just like Pro-models. The models will come with USB-C port – the first iPhone series without Apple’s usual lightning port. It will equip A16 Bionic chip, as in iPhone 14 Pro.

iPhone 15 is tipped to have 35W faster charging. However, the display of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is said to be 60 Hz, which is not to the level of other smartphones that’s launching in 2023.

iPhone 15 Pro models

The biggest update of the event is expected to be focused on its Pro models – iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. Again, Apple makes major shifts in design, software and features of the handset and it’s going to be completely new and hence costlier than ever.

Starting with the processor, Apple deploys A17 bionic chipset for the pro models and houses USB-C port. iPhone 15 Pro will be the first smartphone to have 2TB storage. That’s Hugeee! The Pro models might also feature 8GB RAM and will come with thinner bezels than its predecessors. The titanium frame of pro-models is expected to provide improved durability and scratch-resistance. iPhone 15 Pro might start at $1,099, while iPhone 15 Pro Max will have $1,199 as its starting price, $100 higher than its previous model.

Apple Watch Series 9

Following the iPhone, Apple Watches will also find its part in the event. Apple Watch Series 9 is expected for the event along with Watch Ultra 2. Apple Watch 9 is likely to have boosted specs with a 5nm A15 chip. It will feature watchOS 10 and we can also expect improved battery life.

The price of Apple Watch 9 is expected to be around $399.

Apple Watch Ultra 2nd Gen

A report by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reveals that Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be coming this year with exciting new features and upgrades.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 may feature a Micro LED display and the watch will include 3D printed titanium parts in it, sources said. With a 49mm flat display, Watch Ultra 2 may come with improved activity tracking, and health monitoring features.

The cost of this watch is not yet known, but is predicted to be costlier than its $799 Apple Watch Ultra version.

iPad Mini 7

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, “Apple isn’t likely to do another major overhaul of the product,” but he does expect a processor upgrade in iPad Mini 7. So, it’s anticipated that it would be an iPad mini 7 with an M2 chip.

The lineups may seem less compared to last year, but Apple had unfolded many of the new products, and software updates including Vision Pro & Macs, in its WWDC 2023 event held on the start of June 2023.

Apple, with its mixed-reality headset and a recent collaboration with Pixar and three other firms on 3D platforms and standards, aims to explore and equip augmented-reality and virtual reality technologies into its products. Next year is going to be even bigger for Apple than 2023.
