Top 10 Young Richest People in India – 2024

Hurun India releases the top 10 young richest people in India in 2024 with Zepto founders being the table-toppers with a net worth of ₹7,900 crores combined.

Indian economy now has a sweet spot having a better growth of 7% compared to all developed countries indeed. Consumption has increased in India by 7.2% to $2.1 trillion in 2023 and will be the third largest consumer market in world by 2026. Businesses see a multi-fold increase in their revenue and profits making the founders, investors and CEOs millionaires and billionaires.

In India, the biggest earners amongst the youngsters are the quick-commerce firm Zepto’s founders, followed by Physics Wallah’s Alakh Pandey. Here is the full list.

1 Kaivalya Vohra – Zepto

Kaivalya Vohra, the co-founder of the unicorn quick-commerce firm ‘Zepto’ hails as the richest youngster with a net worth of ₹3,600 Crores ($429 million), according to Hurun India. Born in Bengaluru and raised in Dubai, Kaivalya Vohra is a Stanford University drop-out. He dropped out of the programme at the age of 18 to start his venture with Aadit Palicha who was his batch-mate.

Started as “Kiranakart” – an online platform that would deliver groceries within 45 minutes, Zepto’s valuation has reached $4.6 billion as of August 2024. Kaivalya Vohra resides as CTO in Zepto.

2 Aadit Palicha – Zepto

Aadit Palicha, the CEO and co-founder of Zepto has amassed a wealth of ₹4,300 Crores ($512 million). Born in 2001 in Mumbai, Aadit Palicha enrolled into Stanford University in US to study computer engineering, where he met Kaivalya Vohra. He too dropped-out the programme to start Zepto.

3 Rohan Gupta & Family – SG Finserve

Rohan Gupta & Family owns 51% stake in SG Finserve, a Supply Chain Financing Solutions company. The 25-year-old’s stake in the firm accumulated him a net worth of ₹1,300 Crores ($154 million).  

4 Shashvat Nakrani – BharatPe

Shashvat Nakrani, 26, co-founder of BharatPe, stands tall with a wealth of ₹1,300 Crores ($154 million). BharatPe has become a key player in India’s fintech space, providing critical financial services to small merchants nationwide. Nakrani is a graduate of IIT Delhi and an angel investor.

5 Vaibhav Jain – PNC Infratech

Vaibhav Jain, 28-year-old from PNC Infratech has a net worth of ₹1,300 Crores ($154 million). PNC Infratech is a infrastructure implementation solutions company that provide design, engineering, procurement, construction, and O&M services. Vaibhav Jain holds 8.7% stake in PNC Infratech as of February 2024.

6 Ritesh Agarwal – OYO

Ritesh Agarwal, the CEO & founder of OYO has a net worth of ₹1900 Crores ($226 million). Born in a small town in Odisha, Ritesh moved to Delhi for his college studies. He dropped out of the college and started OYO when he was just 21 years old. He started his entrepreneurial journey with ‘Oravel Stays’ – a budget accommodation portal, which received a grant of $100,000 from Peter Thiel. He was only 19 when he earned the grant. OYO which was once valued at $10 billion in 2019, is now valued at $2.4 billion in 2024. He now owns a 32.57% stake in OYO.



7 Harsha Reddy Ponguleti – Raghava Constructions India

Ponguleti, with INR 1,300 Cr, is making strides in the construction industry with Raghava Constructions India, contributing to the infrastructure boom. 

8 Trishneet Arora – TAC Security

Trishneet Arora, the founder and CEO of TAC Security, an IT security Company has a net worth of ₹1,100 crores ($131 million). TAC security provides services to Reliance Industries, Central Bureau of Investigation, Punjab & Gujarat Police (India), for investigating the cyber-crimes.He was included in Forbes 30 Under 30 2018 Asia list, Fortune (magazine) 40 Under 40 and 50 Most Influential Young Indians by GQ Magazine. He has written books on cyber-security, ethical hacking & web defence.

9 Aditya Kumar Halwasla – Cupid

Aditya Kumar Halwasiya is a businessman who has made investments in several companies, including Cupid Ltd and Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd (TFCIL). Aditya Kumar Halwasiya is currently the Managing Director & Director at Cupid Ltd., Director at Universal Petro-Chemicals Ltd., Director at Apollo Micro Systems Ltd., and No-Independent Non-Executive Director at Tourism Finance Corp. of India Ltd. He owns 28.52% stake in Cupid Ltd with the value of ₹651.7 Crores. His net worth amounts to ₹1100 Crores ($131 million).

10 Alakh Pandey – Physics Wallah

Alakh Pandey, the name synonymous with Physics Wallah, a billion-dollar education empire, has a fortune of ₹4,500 Crores. Thanks to his Physics Wallah startup, which is now valued at $2.8 billion. Born in 1991 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Alakh Pandey started a YouTube channel in 2016, teaching complex physics for school and college students. The channel has now 12.8 million subscribers. He also launched an app which provides Live courses for JEE, NEET and class 6-12.
