Samsung has officially unveiled its most advanced foldable device yet: the Galaxy Z TriFold. Racing to maintain its technology leadership in the evolving foldable market, Samsung introduced this multi-folding smartphone, which is designed to balance portability, premium performance, and productivity in a single device.

The long-anticipated trifold flagship will be available in South Korea starting December 12, 2025, with the starting model priced at 3,594,000 South Korean won (approximately $2,449). The Galaxy Z TriFold is engineered to maximize output. The huge 10-inch screen—the largest ever on a Galaxy phone—performs like three 6.5-inch smartphones simultaneously, giving users ample room to multitask. Furthermore, users can achieve a seamless dual-screen experience by adding a secondary screen in Extended Mode and connecting a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, effectively creating an ultimate portable workstation.

The device’s capabilities are further elevated by Galaxy AI. Features like Photo Assist (including Generative Edit and Sketch to Image) adapt impressively to the large screen scale. In terms of protection, the device carries an IP48 rating. This signifies water resistance (submersion up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for 30 minutes) and protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm, though it is important to note that it is not dust- or sand-resistant.
