Central Eurasia Names 2026 Road to Battlefield Winners Heading to TechCrunch Disrupt

The regional final of the Road to TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 2026 has officially concluded, spotlighting a new wave of international innovation. Startups Cerberus, WeGlobal AI, and LOOQ claimed the top three positions in a highly competitive showdown. These promising startups will now advance to represent Central Eurasia in the Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this October.

Remarkable Growth and Artificial Intelligence Dominance

This year’s regional competition saw remarkable growth, drawing 726 applications from 39 countries. That figure represents an impressive 50 percent increase compared to the previous year.

A striking 84 percent of all participating startups centered their core product offerings around artificial intelligence. The three winning companies reflect this heavy AI focus, tackling specialized problems in cybersecurity, education, and physical analytics.

Top Three Winning Startups

Taking first place was Cerberus from Uzbekistan, an AI-powered cybersecurity startup that automatically detects corporate IT vulnerabilities. The platform addresses a major industry gap by safely letting AI agents test infrastructure without relying on hallucination-prone general models. Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technology noted that the win highlights the country’s rapid evolution into a hub for international tech talent.

Taking second place was Kazakhstan’s WeGlobal AI, which provides automated mental health tracking and career guidance tools for schools. The platform addresses a critical shortage of school psychologists by scaling essential student support services. Deputy Prime Minister Zhaslan Madiyev emphasized that AI is enabling emerging ecosystems to compete globally at an unprecedented pace.

Japan-based LOOQ rounded out the top three by capturing third place with its camera-based hardware and attention API. Designed to measure real-world audience attention for out-of-home billboards, the technology functions as a Google Analytics tool for the physical world.

Prizes and Global Tech Impact

The winning teams secured a combined $100,000 investment pool alongside substantial API credits from OpenAI. This regional showcase underscores how technological innovation and artificial intelligence are thriving far beyond traditional Silicon Valley boundaries.
