Remote Kissing device allows long-distance couples to feel the smacking lip-locks

A newly designed creepy kissing device with moving lips allows people to feel the lip kisses remotely likely as real with their partners, goes viral.

With enhanced technology and innovation, anything is possible to do it remotely, even kissing. Want to kiss your long-distance partner remotely? Both of you might have to buy this kissing-device. The device resembles the “kissenger” that broke the internet a few years ago, which also allows remote kissing.

The Chinese invention is more advanced than the kissenger in that, it has a humans’ lip-like appearance for you to feel the real kissing. Finally, the perfect “valentine” gift..

The Kissing Device

A Chinese contraption with warm, moving silicon “lips” – the kissing device equips pressure sensors, and actuators to let long-distance couples share their intimate lip kisses remotely and to feel it real. The device replicates the pressure, movement and even temperature of a user’s lips.

And to make it spicy, the device can also transmit the sound the user makes, along with the kissing motion. Garnering more attention, the device receives both hilarious and criticizing comments from social media users.

“I don’t understand (the device) but I’m utterly shocked,” read a comment.

The virtual kissing works like this – both the partners need to have the kissing device. After buying one for each, users need to download an app in their smartphones and plug the device into their phone’s charging port. After pairing with partners via the app, couples can start a video call and transmit their lip smooches to each other. Happy kissing!

Inspiration of the Kissing Device

Jiang Zhongli who is the leading inventor of the design said “In my university, I was in a long-distance relationship with my girlfriend so we only had contact with each other through the phone. That’s where the inspiration of this device originated,” while speaking about the device.

According to China’s state-run Global Times, the invention has been patented by the Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology.

Though made for couples, the device also allows users to pair up anonymously with strangers in the “kissing square” function of the app. It’s like new age Tinder. If two strangers match successfully and like each other, you may approach one another for virtual kissing.

And the weirdest part is that users can also “upload” their lip smooches in the app for others to download and experience. How much technology is too much technology?
