Apple, the epitome of quality & brand, is gearing up for its Spring launch event, expected to be held later this year, and is foreseen to unveil more treats for its users in this year than ever, reports say. Eyes of the world have been watching out the event as rumors of the products line-up, has driven the techies curious.

Here are 7 New Apple Products expected to be in the hands of people this year.

AirPods Pro 2

The AirPods Pro 2 have been a long time coming. Ever since Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo forecast his predictions back in 2020, earbud fans have speculated how Apple will update its immensely popular AirPods Pro.

Apple’s next generation earbuds are keen in adding health-focused features and fitness tracking features. The airpods pro would be equipped with two sets of sensors, from an iPhone and Apple watch, to combine data for more accurate tracking of your fitness. Besides including accelerometers and gyroscopes, now the pro buds adapt with Apple’s sensor fusion system.

Alike the second-generation earbuds, pro 2 will have active noise-cancelling for immersive sound.

Airpods Pro 2 price rates were tipped to be $249 / ₹24,900, way back in October 2020 and is expected anytime around Q4 of 2022.

Apple iPhones

iPhone 14 Series

The substantially marketed Apple product, the iPhone, excites apple nerds with two lineups – iPhone 14 Series & iPhone SE this year. There’s been couple of talks regarding the features of iPhone 14 series & what’s new the iPhone is bringing this time. Apple for the first time is ditching its Mini-model in its iPhone-14, and iPhone 14 Max would be replacing that. Also, iPhone-14 put a stop to its notch-displays by introducing a pill-shaped & hole-punch display.

iPhone SE – New

Apple is expected to kick off its 2022 slate of products with an event in the coming months, and there’s one hot new handset that’s being tipped for release.

That device is the iPhone SE (3rd gen) – a budget entry to the smartphone line-up that’s currently led by the iPhone 13 series. There’s a lot we don’t know about the new iPhone SE, but speculation is growing that it’s definitely on the horizon.

The SE has always existed for one main reason: to offer an affordable alternative to the flagship series. Apple does this by compromising on how much tech it packs into the phones – with specs typically more in line with its earlier-gen flagships.

According to MacRumors, citing financial outlet Nikkei, the SE could look similar to the iPhone 8, but boasting an upgraded A15 chip and 5G modem. Macworld noted Apple may finally ditch the iPhone 8-era design in favour of an iPhone XR or iPhone 11 aesthetic, potentially making the display bigger or reducing the bezels.

At this stage, it’s mostly speculation. Reporting by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has suggested the new SE will in fact have a similar design to the existing model.

The SE 3 is expected in the first half of 2022 at ₹45,990.

All new Apple Watch

The usual upgrade stuff includes the Apple Watch Series 8 – everybody is expecting that. But Apple could be gearing up to introduce an all-new Apple watch variant and refresh the Watch SE.

In 2022, we could get a Rugged Apple Watch, which is likely to be aimed at sports athletes. According to Gurman, the new Apple Watch will have a “ruggedized” design that may feature a case that’s more resistant to scratches, dents, falls, and more.

Apple will also launch a Watch SE refresh. To recall, the first-generation Apple Watch SE was released in September 2020. It is still the best smartwatch to get if you are looking to get into Apple’s wearable segment for around $250.

MacBook Air & MacBook Pro

Rumors prevail that Apple likely to rain couple of MacBooks this year than ever and MacBook Air & MacBook Pro are the ones that we could look forward to in the lists.

While the existing MacBook Air offers M1 chip, the upcoming MacBook Air will be featuring M2 chip, the next generation processor. Expected this year, the MacBook Air’s price is in two minds, but would be starting around $1000.

Speaking of MacBook Pro, the lap anticipates on its 14-inch display panel, incorporating M2 chip, likely as the new MacBook Air, Mark Gurman’s report describes.

Until we hear official word from Apple, we won’t know for sure how the expected MacBook Pro 2022 will be priced.

But based on everything we’ve heard so far, it seems likely the starting price of said MacBook Pro will be less than $2,000, and likely as low as $1,299 to $1,499. That speculation is based entirely on the fact that the MacBook Pro 2022 is rumored to be a new entry-level model, and since the current entry-level Pro is the aging 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 (starting price $1,299), a replacement will probably cleave pretty closely to the same pricing scheme.

Apple iPad

“The iPad Air hasn’t been updated since the end of 2020. I’d say a new version of that product also is possible,” Gurman wrote. We can expect it to get the A15 chip from the iPhone 13, which would make it line up with the iPad mini from last year. Another improvement could come in the form of an updated front-facing camera and Center Stage for video calls (a feature that is missing on the iPad Air 4).

Apple also is foreseen to upgrade the iPad Pro lineup with a new updated design and a chip, so probably, will be equipping M2 Processor & have support for wireless charging.

Apple VR Headset

The Apple VR and augmented reality or mixed reality headset continues to pop up in rumors and other reports. While Apple has not officially announced the device, CEO Tim Cook has called the area of AR “critically important” and one of “very few profound technologies.”

Mark Gurman claims that the Apple VR/AR headset will come with ‘M1 Pro-like’ performance, but may cost upwards of $2,000 when it finally arrives.

The VR Headset of Apple will feature 12 tracking cameras that can feed information to two 8K displays in front of the users’ eyes. Also, according to the reports of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Sony gets in for making 4K 4000 x 4000 displays for Apple’s headset, with possibility of LiDAR.

Launch of this mixed-reality headset, is expected on somewhere in the Q2 or at the end of 2022.
