Apple iPhone-14 is waving around the tech-world, as its finally ditching the traditional notch-setup in its displays, letting the new pill-shaped camera hole in its series. Now, several people on Twitter are sharing mockups on how the Cupertino-based giant may implement a punch-hole design on the next iPhone series.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are rumoured to come with a hole-punch display design. However, it is unsure of how Apple will implement this, since the notch on iPhones holds many important sensors like Face ID, but the images on Twitter have suggested what the iPhone-maker may do in terms of squeezing the sensors, designing a pill-shaped cutout.

The Apple iPhone 14 series is said to come in four variants – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. And this is the first time, Apple has started to dump Mini models in its iPhone series. According to earlier reports, the Pro models will feature triple rear cameras and will come with a 120Hz refresh rate display, similar to their predecessors.
iPhone 14 Pro – Camera
A fresh new report by TrendForce has corroborated earlier accounts that the iPhone 14 Pro will move to a 48MP main camera.
This will mark the third time an iPhone has increased the resolution of its main camera (iPhone 4 to 4S – 5MP to 8MP; iPhone 6 to 6s – 8MP to 12MP) and would be a serious shift in Apple’s way of doing cameras.
It’s likely that Apple needs the higher resolution in order to offer 8K video recording on its Pro phones, but that they’ll also shoot in different resolutions, depending on the scene. A portrait or a landscape could use more megapixels, while a low-light photo could end up pixel-binned to 12MP.
Price-tag of the iPhone-14 Series
iPhone-14 Series starts at $799 and its price tags are the same as that of iPhone 13 series last year except its Pro model, aiming for a $100 ahead from that of 13’s Pro. As for the iPhone 14 Max, the leak suggests a price of $899.
The tip shared by LeaksApplePro suggests that the Apple iPhone 14 Pro will be priced at $1,099, while the Pro Max variant will go on sale for $1,199. If we were to convert these prices to Indian Rupee, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max would retail for around Rs 81,000 and Rs 89,000 respectively.
