Artificial Intelligence chatbot ChatGPT had made a Youth in Texas, US to earn ₹28 Lakh ($35,000) by doing this – teaching people how to use the Chatbot.
While people are afraid about losing jobs due to automation, robots and AI, this youth turned the situation around in favor of him. The 23-year-old youth took the opportunity of the augment of AI technology by educating people fully about OpenAI’s ChatGPT on how to use it and earned thousands of dollars out of that.
Lance Junck, a 23-year-old guy from Austin in Texas launched an online course “ChatGPT Masterclass: A Complete ChatGPT Guide for Beginners” on education platform Udemy that teaches people to use ChatGPT from scratch. Published on December last year, the course has been enrolled by more than 17,000 students now around the world.
Impressed by the capabilities of generative AI chatbot ChatGPT, which was released last year on November, Junck wanted to make the AI accessible to everyone and saw an opportunity to teach people of using the AI efficiently via an online course.
With 17,742 students (as of the time of writing this article) enrolled for the course, Junck had earned more than $35,000 within three months of publishing the masterclass, Business Insider reports.
About the Course
The course, which is more than seven hours long and is now priced at $20, includes 50 lectures aimed at beginners. It starts with how to write your first ChatGPT prompt, then moves into specific ChatGPT applications for businesses, students, and programmers. It also includes tutorials on how to make art with AI image generator DALL-E 2, suggestions on the best ChatGPT plug-ins, and even an introduction to GPT-4, OpenAI’s newest language model.
Within a week, 90 students enrolled in the course, Junck said. Since then, the course has enrolled between 200 and 250 new students each day.
Not by just making the course which him two weeks made him to earn the amount, but his expertise skills in marketing and SEO. This is why his course is one of the first to appear amid 1,266 search results for ChatGPT on Udemy. He also promoted the course on LinkedIn.
